When it comes to losing weight there is no easy way however here at the Gymnastic Fitness Club blog were going to give you some useful tips on how you can start making small differences with minimal effort that have the potential to have a big impact on your weight loss regime.

Here are 5 relatively simple steps you can take to help yourself feel healthier and lose some weight:

1

1.  Cut out alcohol – This may be more difficult for some more than others but certain alcohol beverages such as beer have a high calorie count and won’t do anything for your weight loss programme. The best thing to do is to cut out all forms of alcohol but if you really have trouble resisting a little drink at night then stick to either wine or clear spirits as these drinks won’t add that much to your waist line!

2.  Avoid Trans fats – As the name implies, Trans fats are bad for you and should be avoided wherever possible. Margarine contains a lot of these fats, so if you take toast for breakfast it would be more advisable to use a thin layer of unsalted butter.

3.  Eat 3 proper meals a day – Obvious for some people but not for others who either skip breakfast or grab an unhealthy substitute for lunch, eating 3 proper meals a day will avoid the need for snacking and eating at regular intervals will allow your body to keep ticking over till your next meal.

4.  Always have breakfast – As most of you will already know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Having a decent breakfast kick starts your metabolism and will give you a much needed energy boost in the morning. Just make sure you actually eat healthily by having plenty of fruit and cereals that don’t contain a lot of sugar.

35.  Work out – Exercise alongside a healthy diet will have a dramatic effect on your weight depending on what type of exercise you’re actually doing though of course. You can work out at home or join a gym but if you’re too lazy for either of those options then just change the little things such as try walking to work if you live close enough or instead of walking try power walking to help you get toned up.
